Skin Cleansing, Exfoliation, and Dermitage against Facial Aging

Skin cleansing is vital in slowing down aging as it replaces moisture that is lost from the skin and also helps stop bacterial growth thus preventing any infection. Skin cleansing, therefore, must be a part of your daily routine in order to maintain fresh, younger-looking skin. Of course, after cleansing, one must follow on with toner and moisturizer to keep skin young and supple.

Different cleansing products can be used depending on the skin type. For dry skin, the face should be washed with a mild, soap-free face wash. Since dry skin is prone to wrinkles and fine lines, never use ordinary soap since they tend to strip the skin of their natural oils. Instead, use a creamy, oil-based cleanser. For combination skin, the entire face should be cleansed twice a day with a mild gel-based cleanser. For oily skin, face should be cleansed with a mild cleanser or foaming wash twice a day. Oily skin tends to age more slowly since the natural oil protects the skin from the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Exfoliation is a form of deep skin cleansing that removes dead skin cells that cling to the skin surface, making your skin smoother and fresher looking. Exfoliation may be in the form of mechanical or chemical exfoliation. Mechanical exfoliation includes scrubbing or skin brushing while chemical exfoliation would include the use of enzymes and acids that work to react with your skin thereby eliminating dead cells. Exfoliation should not be overdone since it may dry the skin.

With so many brands out there, it is advised to use products from the same line or brand instead of mixing all types of products from different manufacturers.

Dermitage is a complete skincare line to keep youthful-looking skin as it reduces the appearance of wrinkles without any surgery. Dermitage is a skincare complex that works to hydrate, tone, soothe, and firm the skin thereby rejuvenating it. Since it contains a combination of helpful ingredients, Dermitage works to better stimulate skin renewal and repair.
