Well, that did not take long. Everything fun and superb about “Iron Man, ” a trifling 2 years back, has disappeared with its follow up. In its place, “Iron Man two ” has substituted noise, misunderstanding, multiple villains, unimportant stunts and badly judged story lines. A film series that began with urgent and business success will need to accept only the latter with this follow up ; Robert Downey Jr.’s return as Tony Bleak / Iron Man will assure that when Supreme releases the feature May seven. For a film surfing a wave of uncontrollable accomplishment from its precursor, “Iron Man two ” starts with a curious sense of panic. Characters all talk immediately. Hesitant story lines launch in all directions. The soundtrack and music clang away, but onscreen tiny occurs till a set piece at a Grand Prix race virtually twenty mins into the film. Downey’s Sheer , the Howard Hughes-like creator of the Iron Man’s software and hardware and its embodiment when he dons the flying iron suit, is subjected to megalomania and a blood-toxicity condition.
